There are several types of portable vaporizers including pipes, heat rods, and specially constructed lighters that offer the convenience of vaporizing just about anywhere.

These various devices all require different supplies and provide different experiences but all can be taken out and used almost anywhere.

  • Vaporizer Pipes – Many vaporizer pipes, or pipe attachments, are some of the most portable vaporization options available. Many units are powered by an open flame. This means that vape pipes are just like standard combustion pipes and require only some herb and a lighter.   • Forced Air Hand Held Vaporizers – Many enthusiasts prefer vaporizing with forced air units however many of these devices are large table top machines that require wall sockets. Though they may not have the durability of larger forced air units many portable versions do make it possible to take whip hits almost anywhere. Just pack some herb in chamber, turn on the electric or butane, wait for heat up and then direct hits are available. Many models such as the Iolite can be carried in your pocket and available for a vaporization session just about anywhere with a minutes notice. If you are new to vaporizing or looking for a vaporizer that can be taken with you there are many portable vaporizers that provide quality vapor with low price and high convenience. If you are looking for a daily workhorse portable units may not provide the durability and performance you require but for convenience it is hard to beat some of the portable units available.
